In general, the breast lift surgery is performed under general anaesthesia in Concept Clinic’s modern and fully equipped operating theatre, which meets with the most demanding standards of the health authorities regarding comfort, safety and hygiene. Making the smallest incisions possible with a scar around the nipple (vertical or reverse T section). Dr Schlaudraff reshapes and elevates the areola and nipple area, removes any excess skin, tightens the remaining skin, and lifts the breast glands, restoring the breast’s harmonious contour. The procedure lasts between 2 and 3 hours.
The results of the breast lift are quickly visible. However, you will need to wear a sports bra to stabilise and support the breasts for about four weeks, the time needed for a complete recovery. Patients can usually resume normal activities within 1 to 2 weeks after surgery but should avoid risky activities for up to 4 to 8 weeks. Scars gradually fade out until barely visible within 12 to 24 months.
