How do we use Sofwave to rejuvenate facial skin?
There are a variety of treatments for rejuvenating facial skin. Among them are those you are probably familiar with, such as lasers, radiofrequency, focused ultrasound, etc. As a specialist in the field of facial rejuvenation, Dr Schlaudraff had the opportunity to share his experience with the new Sofwave technology at the recent Beauty Through Science conference in Stockholm.
Firming the skin without burning
But what is Sofwave? It’s a modern, non-invasive parallel ultrasound-based treatment. It is referred to as the new generation, as opposed to the old generation – focused ultrasound – which can be problematic. Like a magnifying glass, the focused ultrasound created a hot spot in the tissue that could reach 75 to 100°C, causing a burn and creating fibrosis. As a result, the skin shrank abruptly.
With Sofwave, it’s different. By heating at a gentle temperature – maximum 65°C – this innovative technology regenerates skin tissue without burning. Old, inelastic tissue is eliminated by the body, activating the regeneration process to produce new collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid. The use of “soft waves” is therefore a real game changer.
Youthful skin with Sofwave and Morphiya
Firming the skin is all very well. But at Concept Clinic, we go one step further. We offer a new treatment combining parallel ultrasound technology – Sofwave – with Morphiya exosomes. The combination offers optimal skin rejuvenation and regeneration.
Sometimes we also pair Sofwave ultrasound and Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) injections to enhance the effects on skin regeneration and collagen production.
Naturally, we can offer you a tailor-made treatment during a personalized consultation.
